Transit Slowdowns: Increased Traffic and Construction Impacting Bus Routes

Welcome back to campus! Active construction around campus is creating some heavy traffic and slowdowns, impacting commute times and University bus schedules. Even with the increased Commuter Bus Service, some delays are expected until the remainder of the roadwork wraps up.

Fall 2026 Student Move-In is August 26 – August 30

Student Move-In will take place from Wednesday, August 26 through Sunday, August 30.

The campus community should anticipate increased traffic and rerouting on Wednesday, August 26, as student move-in begins. The increased traffic this activity brings may create traffic delays and will necessitate parking space closures and alterations to the city and U-M transit systems.
