
Labor Day Parking
Please be advised that permit enforcement in campus parking lots and structures will be suspended on Labor Day (Monday, September 7) with the exception of the P1, P2/P3, P4, P5, and Zina structures, M71 and M95 (Arbor Heights) surface lots. In addition, signed spaces (Gold, Accessible, Service, Business, Commercial Vehicle, etc.) will require appropriate permits and remain enforced at all times.
On Labor Day, Yellow permit holders will have holiday access to the P3, P4, and P5 structures. On Tuesday, September 8, holders must exit P4 and P5 by 8:00 a.m. and exit P3 by 9:00 a.m.
Labor Day Transit
On Labor Day (Monday, September 7), University Transit Services will operate a reduced schedule, providing typical Sunday-level service for the following routes:
- Bursley-Baits
- Northwood
- Oxford Shuttle
- Commuter North (New Weekend Service)
- Commuter South (New Weekend Service)

Paratransit, SafeRide and after-hours services will not operate on Labor Day. Regular transit service will resume on Tuesday, September 8.
The East Medical Campus Employee Parking Shuttle will not operate on Labor Day and will resume on Tuesday morning, September 8 at 3:20 a.m. The Michigan Medicine Late Night shuttles will also not operate Monday evening, September 7.
Fuller Pool Parking
Per the terms of the University’s lease agreement with the City of Ann Arbor, the paved portion of the M78 (Fuller Pool) parking lot will reopen to U-M permit holders beginning the week of September 7, 2026. University permit holders may park only in areas designated for yellow permit parking and according to posted hours.
Please observe posted signage to avoid the risk of citation.
