Any event requiring more than 10 parking permits is considered a “Special Event” and will require the host to coordinate their guests’ parking with the Parking Customer Services office.
Departments within University Hospitals may obtain passes for their guests/visitors to park in the patient parking areas through the Parking Attendant Services office.
Departments are fully responsible for the proper use, management and security of the parking permits/coupons/passes obtained from Logistics, Transportation & Parking (LTP). Misuse of the guest parking options will result in immediate termination of the department’s participation in the parking program. U-M staff are strictly prohibited from using these parking options, unless approved by LTP due to extenuating circumstances, (e.g. staff are located off-site and parking permits are not required, department mandated training, etc.).
