
The 2026 U-M home football season will kick off Saturday, September 5. Logistics, Transportation & Parking (LTP) and the Athletic Department again ask for your assistance as we work to provide parking for game attendees.
We request that ALL vehicles (personal & University) be parked at off-site locations away from the football stadium area each Friday by 10:00 p.m. prior to home football games.
Any vehicles left in the lots after 10:00 p.m. will be subject to towing.
Please note that the EV Charging locations in SC7, SC32, SC36, W32, W3, and S8 are not available for U-M Fleet vehicle charging on football Saturdays. Please plan to charge during the week and/or use another charger on campus during home game weekends. Visit this page of campus EV charging information to learn more.
There are eight home games this year:

- SEP 12 (SAT) NOON VS OKLAHOMA
- SEP 19 (SAT) 3:30 PM VS UTEP
- SEP 26 (SAT) TBA VS IOWA
- OCT 17 (SAT) TBA VS PENN STATE
- OCT 24 (SAT) TBA VS INDIANA
- NOV 7 (SAT) TBA VS MICHIGAN STATE
- NOV 21 (SAT) TBA VS UCLA

- SC2 – Blue lot between Hoover St. & Keech St.
- SC3 – Service Center at Admin Services Building
- SC4** – Yellow lot on Kipke Dr.
- SC5 – Yellow lot on Kipke Dr.
- SC6 – Orange lot west of Kipke Dr.
- SC7 – Orange lot east of Kipke Dr.
- SC11 – U-M Business Vehicle lot on Hoover St. @ the Physical Properties Bldg.
- SC16 – Yellow lot on Kipke Dr. at CSSB
- SC32 – Visitor lot on Greene St.
- SC34 – State Street Park & Ride
- SC35 – Yellow lot between Keech St. & Hoover St.
- SC36* – Orange lot on Main St. & Keech St.
- SC37 – Blue lot on Hoover St. @ Revelli Hall
- SC41 – Orange lot on Hoover St.
- W32 – Yellow lot (“The Coliseum” lot) on Hill St & Division St.
- W33 – Yellow lot on Greene St.
- W34 – Blue lot on Greene St.
- W35 – Blue lot on Hoover St. @ Greene St.
- W39 Yellow lot along S. Fifth Ave.
- W40 – Yellow lot along S. Fifth Ave.
* A section of SC36 will be closed to parkers beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Thursdays.
** A section of SC4 will be closed to parkers beginning at 5:00 pm on Thursdays.
Interactive Facilities & Parking Map
On-call staff and staff with regular work schedules on Saturday will be accommodated on the Ross Athletic Campus whenever possible. With as much advance notice as possible, please email LTP ([email protected]) with the names of those working and the dates. Our football coordinator will confirm their parking arrangements by return email.
Employees working on home football game Saturdays should plan for the following traffic impacts and street closures:
- NEW FOR 2026: E. Hoover Avenue (from S. Division to Greene) and Greene Street (south of E. Hoover) will close for Wolverine Village pedestrian traffic and the Marching Band route 90 minutes before kick-off.
- Greene Street south of E. Hoover will remain closed until after the game.
- E. Keech Street (between S. Main Street and Greene Street) closes to all traffic except emergency vehicles, 3 hours before kick-off.
Gate Access via Radio
On home football weekends only, beginning at 11:00 pm on Friday until 6:30 am on Sunday the gate that leads to the Kipke fuel pumps and SC10 will be closed.
For U-M service vehicle access, the gate can be opened with your U-M supplied radio.
Contact the radio shop if you cannot open the gate or have any radio questions.
