The U-M campus hosts a wide variety of conferences, seminars, and other events. Because there is limited daytime parking available, Parking Customer Services (PCS) offers Special Events Parking Coordination services to help our guests and to minimize inconvenience to faculty and staff.
Among the services provided are:
- Identification of parking options
- Cashier – attendants
- Other personalized options
Event organizers should notify PCS no later than two weeks before the event and will need to complete a Special Event Parking Request form. Parking assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Permits purchased by U-M departments must be paid with a shortcode that is in compliance with all conditions imposed by the funding source.
Fees are based on the parking location, number of spaces and services provided.
