Commuter South

Due to ongoing road closure changes on the Medical Campus, multiple routes are on detour accordingly.

Updated 8/13/26:

-For Commuter North, M305/Couzens Hall is CLOSED. Please board CN buses from the temp stop on the SE corner of Observatory & E. Medical Center or regular scheduled bus stops along E. Medical Center Drive.

-For Commuter South, M307/Biomedical Science Research Bldg and M303/CVC is CLOSED. Please board CS buses from M314/Mott Hospital or a temp stop on Southbound Observatory St after E. Medical Center Dr.

-For Crisler Express, M307/Biomedical Science Research Bldg and is CLOSED. Please board CX buses from M303/CVC or the regular scheduled bus stops along E. Medical Center Dr.

-For North-East Shuttle, M306/Zina Pitcher, M322/W. Medical Ctr @ Catherine, & M312/Med Science Research Bldg II are CLOSED. Please board NES from a temp stop on E. Hospital Dr. & Simpson Dr or the regular scheduled bus stops along E. Medical Center Dr.

-For Northwood, M305/Couzens Hall, M306/Zina Pitcher, M302/Stockwell, & M304/Lloyd Observatory are CLOSED. Please board NW from the M309 or M310 Glen/Catherine Inbound & Outbound stops.

-For Wall Street-NIB, M306/Zina Pitcher, M305/Couzens Hall, M303/CVC, & M314/Mott Hospital are CLOSED. Please board WS-NIB from the temp stop on E. Hospital Dr & Simpson Dr. or any other regularly scheduled stop along E. Medical Center Dr. before Mott Hospital.

M311/NIB is currently CLOSED. Please board at a temp stop on the corner of E. Ann St and N. Ingalls St.

The following detours will be in effect during Fall 2026 Semester Move-In from August 24th through August 29th.

-Bursley-Baits: There will be no service to M306/Zina Pitcher during this detour. BB will not conduct it’s normal weekday or weekend shift onto Observatory during this time. Please board BB in the Med Campus area from either a temp stop located on Northbound Washtenaw Ave between Geddes Rd and Palmer Field or M309-Glen/Catherine Outbound.

-Commuter North: There will be no service to M306/Zina Pitcher during this detour. Please board a CN bus from M309-Glen/Catherine Outbound.

-Commuter South: There will be no service to M314/Mott, M303/CVC, or M307/BSRB during this detour. Please board a CS bus from a temporary stop on E. Hospital Drive & Simpson Dr or from M310-Glen/Catherine Inbound.

-Crisler Express: There will be no service to M314/Mott, M303/CVC, or M307/BSRB during this detour. Please board a CSX bus from a temporary stop on E. Hospital Drive & Simpson Dr instead.

-North-East Shuttle: There will be no service to M314/Mott, M303/CVC, M306/Zina Pitcher, M312/Med Science Research Institute II, or M322/W. Med/Catherine during this detour. Please board NES from a temporary stop on E. Hospital Drive & Simpson Dr or from M319/Cancer Center Outbound.

-Northwood: There will be no service toM302/Stockwell, M304-Lloyd/Observatory, M305/Couzens Hall, or M306/Zina Pitcher during this detour. Please board a NW bus from M310-Glen/Catherine Inbound or C251/CCTC-Muesum instead.

-Wall Street Express: There will be no service to M314/Mott or M303/CVC during this detour. Please board a WX bus from a temp stop on E. Hospital Dr. & Simpson Dr instead.

-Wall Street-NIB: There will be no service to M314/Mott, M303/CVC, M306/Zina Pitcher, M305/Couzens Hall, or M311/NIB during this detour. Please board a WS bus from a temp stop on E. Hospital Dr. & Simpson Dr or from M310-Glen/Catherine Inbound instead.

Until further notice, the following detours will be in effect:

-Diag-To-Diag Express: There will be no service to C204/East Quad or M306/Zina Pitcher. For service to/from East Quad, please board a DD bus from a temp stop on the Northwest corner of S. Forest Ave & Willard St. For service to/from Zina Pitcher, please board a DD bus from M309-Glen/Catherine Outbound.

-Northwood Express: There will be no service to C204/East Quad. For service to/from East Quad, please board a DD bus from a temp stop on the Northwest corner of S. Forest Ave & Willard St.

-Oxford Shuttle: There will be no service to C204/East Quad or C208/Kinesiology. For service to/from East Quad, please board a DD bus from a temp stop on the Northwest corner of S. Forest Ave & Willard St. For Service to/from the School of Kinesiology, please board from C250/CCTC-CHEM.

-Commuter South: For additional service from East Quad during this time, Commuter South will be servicing a temp stop on Westbound Hill Street between Church Street & E. University Ave.
