Commuter South

Due to ongoing road closure changes on the Medical Campus, multiple routes are on detour accordingly.

Updated 7/15/26:

-For Commuter North, M305/Couzens Hall is CLOSED. Please board CN buses from the temp stop on the SE corner of Observatory & E. Medical Center or regular scheduled bus stops along E. Medical Center Drive.

-For Commuter South, M307/Biomedical Science Research Bldg is CLOSED. Please board CS buses from M303/CVC or the regular scheduled bus stops along E. Medical Center Dr.

-For Crisler Express, M307/Biomedical Science Research Bldg is CLOSED. Please board CX buses from M303/CVC or the regular scheduled bus stops along E. Medical Center Dr.

-For North-East Shuttle, M306/Zina Pitcher, M322/W. Medical Ctr @ Catherine, & M312/Med Science Research Bldg II are CLOSED. Please board NES from M303/CVC or the regular scheduled bus stops along E. Medical Center Dr.

-For Northwood, M305/Couzens Hall has a temporary stop further West on E. Ann St between Zina Pitcher and Glen Ave.

M306/Zina Pitcher & M304/Lloyd Observatory are CLOSED. Please board NW from the Couzens Hall Temp stop on E. Ann St. between Zina Pitcher & Glen Ave.

-For Wall Street-NIB, M306/Zina Pitcher is CLOSED. Please board WS-NIB from the Couzens Hall Temp stop on E. Ann St. between Zina Pitcher & Glen Ave or the regular scheduled bus stops along E. Medical Center Dr.

Be Advised:
Upcoming planned expansions of the road construction in the area of North University Ave and Fletcher Street are expected to fully close bus access to both sides of CCTC.

For Commuter North service near CCTC, please instead board from a temporary bus stop on E. Washington Street between S. Thayer Street & Fletcher Street (South sidewalk across from Rackham).

For Commuter South service near CCTC, please board at a temporary bus stop placed next to TheRide bus stop #1881 (Washtenaw Ave Southbound at Geddes Ave)

For Northwood service near CCTC, please board from the temporary bus stop on E. Washington Street between S. Thayer Street & Fletcher Street (South sidewalk across from Rackham). You can also still board a NW bus from C210/Power Center.

This is currently expected to take place July 20th and continue through August 17th.

CCTC-Chem and C210/Rackham Stops are closed now through 7/20 due to road closures. All routes scheduled for pickup at CCTC-Chem have been moved to CCTC-Museum during this time. CN & CS are temporarily servicing C251/Power Center at this time instead of Rackham.

A full closure of both sides of CCTC will begin July 20th through August 17th. Please see the Transit Alert Titled “CCTC- Full Closure 7/20-8/17” for future detour guidance.

The following detours will be in effect due to road construction from 8/3/2026 through 8/22/2026:

-Commuter South: No service to M303/CVC. Board Commuter South instead from a temp stop on Southbound Observatory between E. Medical Center Drive & Washington Heights.

-Med Express: No service to M314/Mott Hospital. Board Med Express instead from M313/Markley Hall

-North East Shuttle: No service to M314/Mott Hospital. Board NES instead from a temp bus stop on E. Hospital Dr. at Simpson Dr.

-Northwood: No service to M305/Couzens Hall or M302/Stockwell. Board NW instead from M309, Glen/Catherine Outbound or a temp bus stop on E. Washington St between S. Thayer St. and Fletcher St or C210/Power Center.

-Wall Street-NIB: No service to M314/Mott, M303/CVC, M306/Zina Pitcher, or M305/Couzens Hall. Board WS instead from M309, Glen/Catherine Outbound, M313/Markley Hall, or a temp stop on E. Hospital Dr. at Simpson Dr.

-WS Express: No service to M314/Mott. Board WX from M313/Markley Hall
