Families moving their students into West Quad carry a variety of items including bags, a futon frame, and a blue bin into and out of the res hall’s main entrance under a “Welcome to Michigan” banner during 2024 Fall Move-In.
Fall 2026 Student Move-In is August 26 – August 30
Student Move-In will take place from Wednesday, August 26 through Sunday, August 30.
The campus community should anticipate increased traffic and rerouting on Wednesday, August 26, as student move-in begins. The increased traffic this activity brings may create traffic delays and will necessitate parking space closures and alterations to the city and U-M transit systems.
