New parking citation rates will be effective Saturday, February 1, 2020. The goal is to improve access and convenience for our permit holders who pay to park within the system and discourage those who do not have permits from using a space they are not credentialed to use. An increase in citation rates will also assist parking enforcement in gaining voluntary compliance with parking rules and regulations. The new citation rates were determined by benchmarking against peer institutions and the City of Ann Arbor and will continue to be reviewed in future years. The new rate structure includes a discount for individuals who pay citation fees by the next business day.
