Transit Alert – South University Pavement and Utility Improvements

Construction work on South University is scheduled to begin on March 16th.ÂÂ
This work involves a road closure, therefore Commuter South and Oxford Shuttle buses will be operating detoured routes.ÂÂ
The bus stops on Willard, at Shapiro Library, at UMMA on South University, on State at Monroe (Commuter South stop) and at the Intramural Building Inbound (Commuter South stop) will be closed as a result of this project.ÂÂ
A temporary stop is being added on Hill Street at Tappan Avenue.ÂÂ

Commuter South
After servicing the CCTC, buses will:
- Turn right on Church
- Service the current bus stop on Church Street at East Quad.
- Turn right on Hill
- Service a temporary stop on Hill at Tappan.
- Turn left on Division.
- Service a temporary stop at Revelli Hall.
- Turn right on Hoover.
- Resume Regular Route
Oxford Shuttle
After Leaving Oxford:
Buses will operate their regular route on South University to Church Street, buses will then:
- Turn left on Church Street
- Service the stop on Church Street at East Quad (be sure to check the sign, buses in both directions will be picking up and dropping off at this location).
- Turn right on Hill
- Service the temporary stop on Hill at Tappan
- Turn right on Packard
- Turn right on Thompson
- Turn right on William
- Turn left on State
- Turn right on North University
- Resume Regular Route
