Michigan Medicine is building a new 12-story adult inpatient hospital on the main medical campus, just west of the Frankel Cardiovascular Center at the corner of Ann Street and Zina Pitcher. The Couzens/Zina Pitcher bus shelter, located along Zina Pitcher, will be impacted during the hospital’s construction (planned for completion in Fall 2025).

Beginning Friday, December 20, the bus shelter will be removed and the stop will be closed. Please see route information below for suggested alternate stops:

  • Bursley-Baits passengers will be picked up and dropped off at the current bus stop at Glen and Catherine.
  • Diag-to-Diag passengers will be picked up and dropped off at the current bus stop at Glen and Catherine.
  • North-East Shuttle passengers will be picked up and dropped off at the current bus stop at the Cardiovascular Center and/or the current stop on West Medical Center Drive at Catherine.
  • Northwood passengers will be picked up and dropped off at the current bus stop at Glen and Catherine.
  • Wall Street-NIB passengers will be picked up and dropped off at the current bus stop at the Cardiovascular Center.
