At approximately 6:00 am this morning, a vehicle fire occurred on the roof of the P1 Parking Structure, involving two vehicles.
The fire has been extinguished by the Ann Arbor Fire Department. A structural assessment is currently underway to ensure the safety of the parking structure.
The roof of the P1 Parking Structure is temporarily closed until it can be deemed safe for use. Please stay tuned for further updates and plan for alternative parking arrangements until the P1 Parking Structure roof is reopened.
Update: December 30, 11:15 a.m.
The safety assessments have been completed and the closures on the P1 Parking Structure roof will be reopened for normal operation shortly after cleanup of the impacted area. Full reopening is expected early this afternoon.

Clean up of the P1 Parking Structure roof has been completed, and it has been reopened for normal operation.
