Free Parking - AAATA Park & Ride Program Free parking and free rides for faculty/staff with yellow MCards from five parking locations in Ann Arbor, Monday through Friday.
Eligibility Because of limited parking availability, the U-M has established eligibility criteria for faculty and staff. Check your eligibility here.
Annual Permit Costs Compare the annual costs of the tiered permits to help find the correct one for you.
Orange Parking Parking located in areas that typically require a short U-M shuttle or bus ride to campus core areas.
Yellow Parking Parking located outside campus core areas, but within walking distance of some U-M buildings.
Blue Parking Parking located close to U-M buildings.
Gold Parking Parking option located in areas close to U-M buildings in parking areas controlled by either signage or gates. Option is limited.
Accessible (Handicap-Designated) Verification Parking Permit is used in conjunction with the state-issued disability placard/license plate and appropriate U-M color-coded permit to authorize parking in U-M accessible parking spaces during enforcement hours.
Daily Parking Daily parking available to faculty and staff who do not possess an annual parking permit.
Community Physician Parking Daily parking option for physicians who are based at a remote Michigan Medicine location (example: Brighton Center for Specialty Care), but have a need for parking at the Medical Campus on occasion.
