Upcoming Parking Changes - Medical Campus
Beginning August 12, several transitions will occur in parking space allocations on Medical Campus. The set of recommended changes are endorsed by Michigan Medicine leadership and result from the efforts of a multi-disciplinary advisory committee composed of Michigan Medicine faculty, staff and leadership.
- In the P3 (Taubman) parking structure, 280 gold spaces will become patient/visitor spaces. This means all gold parking will be removed from P3.
- In the P4 (Simpson) parking structure, 280 blue spaces will become gold spaces.
- At the Fuller Road lot (M71), 250 yellow spaces will become blue spaces.
- At the Arboretum M29 lot (Pit), across the street from the hospital entrance, 48 valet spaces will become blue spaces.
In all, patient/visitor spaces will increase by 280. Overnight parking, accessible parking spaces, business vehicle parking and other special programs will not be affected.
